Living Backgrounds and Level-3 3D Hunt Enemies

  • Added subtle animated rune glow to the Tavern portal and flickering torchlight with procedural flame in the battle arena.
  • All level-3 Hunt enemies are now available in 3D as downloadable content.
  • Remote Hunt models keep the initial download smaller while loading their normal or HD textures as needed.

3D Equipment and Startup Polish

  • Completed a major fitting pass across the 3D equipment collection, including armor, pants, boots, gloves, shields, swords, daggers, and other weapons.
  • Improved weapon grips, left-hand equipment, animation visibility, and equipment transitions so complete sets appear together.
  • Added graphics quality options and character zoom with vertical inspection for viewing equipment up close.
  • Moved higher-level 3D equipment into downloadable content packs to keep the base game smaller while preserving item quality.
  • Reworked startup loading so the animated splash continues during heavy loading and the tavern waits for equipped gear or shows its download progress.
  • Fixed missing or incorrectly displayed equipment, including the Doombringer Greatblade, and improved Android stability.

Full 3D Character Equipment

  • The full tavern fighter is now represented in 3D.
  • Every item category in the game now has 3D equipment that can be equipped directly on the character.

First 3D Equipment Preview

  • Work has begun on fully 3D equipment for RuneScar fighters.
  • The first experimental 3D equipment set is now available. At this stage, its models represent item classes rather than the exact appearance of every individual item.
  • Future updates will add dedicated 3D models so each item can match its own artwork and identity.
  • Added animated cloth details and improved equipment fitting during character animation.

Account Restore Fix

  • Fixed a bug where progress was not restored after reinstalling the game or switching to a new device — the game now correctly recovers your nickname, stats, skins, and battle history from your linked Google Play account.

Animated Skins and Account Restore

  • Improved animated hero skin transitions between the tavern, menus, and battles without disabling animated skins.
  • Restored the intended animated starter hero skin for new players.
  • Improved Google Play account restore after reinstall and prevented creation of an unlinked device account when platform sign-in is required.
  • Fixed level 1 AI opponents receiving more weapon mastery than their level allows.

Account Restore and Startup Loading

  • Improved clean reinstall account restore so linked platform accounts load server progress before first-start prompts appear.
  • Protected restored server saves from being overwritten by a brand-new local starter save during launch.
  • Decoupled the startup loading bar from tavern warmup so the splash video keeps playing while loading finishes.
  • Moved heavier Shop preload work until after the startup splash closes.

Store UI and First-Start Polish

  • Improved the Stats panel placement when opened over the Shop so it keeps the store controls readable.
  • Updated the Stats panel background art for a cleaner tavern and shop presentation.
  • Reduced the starter animated hero skin video size for smoother first launch on weaker Android devices.
  • Improved first-start account sync timing so platform account prompts no longer cover the tutorial flow.
  • Added extra protection against partial progress restore during account sync.
  • Fixed the first nickname popup so the placeholder and typing caret are visible on Android.
  • Adjusted first-start order so the tutorial finishes first, the nickname popup appears next, and platform account sync runs after the nickname is confirmed.
  • Restored the tutorial unequip step and made the practice Novice Ring reset cleanly during repeated tutorial runs.
  • Improved tutorial recovery after PvAI fights so returning to the tavern no longer leaves the tutorial blocked on the health timer.
  • Reduced repeated platform profile prompts after the first account-sync attempt on a local install.

Fair PvAI and Store Build Prep

  • Reworked PvAI battles so AI opponents use real gear, real stats, and the same combat rules as players.
  • Removed hidden local-AI damage and armor modifiers from combat resolution.
  • Updated PvAI equipment generation so opponents match the player's gear budget more closely and use proper weapons, shields, or dual weapons by build style.
  • Balanced low-level Universal accessories so earrings and necklaces no longer stack extreme body armor.
  • Adjusted high-level Universal items and reran PvP, PvAI, PvE, and item-audit balance passes.

Combat Balance Repair

  • Fixed dodge resolution so visible Anti-Dodge fully suppresses lower visible Dodge instead of allowing hidden counter rolls.
  • Rebalanced early PvP items so Dodger, Crit, and Tank counters work from level 1 through level 7.
  • Improved Enemy AI equipment selection so opponents spawn with gear that better matches the player's current equipment level.
  • Retuned PvE hunt pressure after the combat balance repair to keep each difficulty close to its intended win-rate table.
  • Cleaned up tavern and battle HP bars so they show compact values like 18/18 without the extra HP prefix.
